This project involved the construction of a new elementary school to replace the aging existing facility.  Harbor Architects LLC first became involved with the project while assisting with the creation of a Master Plan for this facility, as well as creating cost estimates for review by the school board and community, and Bond Issue preparation and planning.  The Bond Issue was approved by the voters in the Spring of 2003.

Harbor Architects LLC later functioned as a Construction Manager on this project, working with the Architect of Record, the Contractor, and the School District to ensure that the project progressed smoothly, on schedule and on budget.  Duties included attending board and progress meetings, touring the project site, creating monthly reports, evaluating the contractor’s schedule, payment applications and change order requests, reviewing inspections and observation reports, and making recommendations to the School District based on these reviews and observations.  At each board meeting, a large photo board was created showing the latest progress photos, allowing the Board to see the progress of the project first hand.  The Project was completed in the Fall of 2006.
