Project Description
Architect's Estimate - $722,000 to $798,000
Remove existing operable sash in existing wood windows in the Aberdeen School District Administration offices (c. 1915). Provide new windows stopped into existing wood window frames.
Work Included:
Provide all labor, materials and equipment required to complete all the Work under a single, lump sum contract for Admin. Building – Window Replacement, located at 216 North G Street, Aberdeen, Washington, as shown on the Drawings and described in the Project Manual.

Generally, remove existing operable window sash components and dispose all debris off site strictly following any hazardous materials protocols as applicable.

Generally, provide new windows stopped into existing window frames.

Replace existing wood window sills and cover with new sheet metal flashing.

Paint all existing and new wood at exterior, new wood at interior, and new sill flashing at exterior.
Work Not Included:
The following items of work will be performed by others, under separate contract, and are not included in this Contract. The Contractor is responsible for storing, if requested, separate contract equipment. The Contractor is responsible for coordinating related work of the Contract with separate contract work. The Contractor shall provide all preparatory work necessary for proper installation of separate contract items including: blocking and backing, and shall provide all finish work necessary for proper installation of separate contract items including: caulking, grouting, furring and painting adjacent surfaces.

Asbestos sampling and testing will be provided by Owner.

TCLIP sampling and testing for lead-based paint will be provided by Owner.

All other items shown on the Drawings and/or described in the Project Manual as “NIC” (not in contract).
